Whilst the Scammell Register can, at present, do nothing about accommodation or tooling it can help you with information for your Scammell vehicle and some of the components within it.
Manuals
The Register has a good stock of drivers handbooks, service manuals and parts books for most models and components and these are available either as hard copy or on CD to both Register Members and non-members.
The price per manual (see below) to Register Members, either hard copy or CD is £20.00, to non-Register Members is £30.00. P&P for CDs is a nominal £1.00 but increases to approximately £10.00 if hard copy is required.
Explanation of the term "Manual " as used here
As is well known, Scammell vehicles, apart from the very earliest with the 4 cylinder petrol engine, contain significant and, as the years went by, increasing quantities of bought-in finished components, engines, gear boxes etc. These major vehicle components have their own service manual and parts listing and would attract additional costs. For example, if you have a Highwayman with a Gardner engine and want service manuals for vehicle and engine and parts manuals for vehicle and engine these are 4 separate manuals attracting a cost of 4 x £20 for Members or 4 x £30 if you are not a Register Member.
